Manchester City are keeping tabs on the work of Mikel Arteta at Arsenal.
According to the Athletic, City are keeping close tabs on Arteta at Arsenal as a potential replacement for current boss Pep Guardiola.
We all know that current Gunners boss started his coaching career under Guardiola at the Etihad. After Unai Emery was sacked, he returned to Arsenal to become their head coach.
He has won the FA Cup and Community Shield for Gunners. He had some downfall in middle but still Arsenal are playing good among top clubs in Premier League club. His side is pushing hard to earn the Champions League ticket.
Man City are admiring his work from a distance. Arteta is thought to have been viewed as a long-term candidate to succeed Guardiola.
Meanwhile, City is doing great job under Pep, winning the Premier League last season and reached into the final of Champions League. Man City are again favourties to win the title this season and Pep is also looking to win Champions League this term.
