Manchester City meet agent Mino Raiola to discuss Haaland move

City wants to shift its focus to Haaland from Harry Kane.

Manchester City director Txiki Begiristain reportedly met with agent Mino Raiola to discuss Halland’s move in the upcoming summer.

The Borussia Dortmund centre-forward Erling Braut Haaland is on the radar of Man City and the club is keen to take his signature ahead of season 2022/23.

Young Norway forward has been terrific in Bundesliga. He has scored 23 goals and registered six assists in 20 appearances in all competitions.

The 21-year-old forward will have a £67m release clause in his contract this summer. Dortmund star is widely expected to leave the German club. He is getting attention from big European clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

As per the Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Man City director Begiristain had a meeting with Haaland’s agent Raiola last month to discuss a summer transfer.

Man City were targeting Harry Kane last summer but failed to make the signing. Now, Pep wants to shift his focus to Haaland.

The 21-year-old has scored 80 goals and provided 21 assists in 79 appearances for Dortmund since joining the club in January 2020.
