Gabriel Jesus has deflected questions surrounding his future ahead of Manchester City’s Champions League semi-final with Real Madrid

In recent months, the Brazilian has been linked with Arsenal and Juventus, with City apparently keen in acquiring Borussia Dortmund attacker Erling Haaland this season.
Jesus was not in the mood to discuss his future after scoring four goals against Watford the previous weekend.

“I think it’s not time to think about this,” said Jesus. “I think you expect me to say this, but it’s true, it is, this is no time to think about this.

Arsenal has prevented Brazilian journalists from inquiring about the club’s interest in Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus.

The Brazil international has surfaced as a target for Arsenal, who are unsure about the futures of out-of-contract duo Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah.

The former Palmeiras star scored four goals to help City maintain their Premier League lead with a win against Watford on Saturday, but he believes now is not the time to respond to rumours.

Gabriel Jesus’ four goals against Watford brought his season total to 11 in all competitions. However, with his minutes restricted thus far, Globo Esporte argues that his participation in the remaining weeks of the season might still play a significant influence in determining whether he stays or departs.
