Jack Grealish has outgrown Aston Villa and should push for a move.
Manchester City have placed a £100m offer for the Aston Villa captain and Grealish is yet to decide on his future.
According to former Arsenal winger Perry Groves, Grealish has outgrown his boyhood club Aston Villa and a move to City makes sense for all the parties.
He said: “When you are a player I always think you should try and play at the highest level you can possibly play at where you talent allows you to play.
“He has outgrown Aston Villa. Jack Grealish has outgrown them, he has got them promotion from the Championship, when they struggled in the first season, he was their talisman, they stayed up. He cemented their place last season in the Premier League.
“I think he signed a new long term contract so he knew Aston Villa would get the right sort of money for him. As long as that hundred million quid if they get it they give it to Dean Smith and they go and reinvest it in the team.
“I think Aston Villa fans would get it. I don’t think there would be any animosity towards Jack Grealish because he is going to one of the best teams in Europe.
“So you should always try to be the best that you can be.”
