Juventus have set their sights on Gabriel Jesus

The Bianconeri are preparing for life without Paulo Dybala, who is scheduled to leave on a free transfer this summer. It has placed Juve on the lookout for a new attacker, and they are willing to make a move for Jesus as long as the asking price does not exceed €30 million.

Gabriel Jesus, formerly of Palmeiras, has been a part of Manchester City’s squad since the beginning of 2017. He was signed as a long-term potential who was anticipated to take Europe by storm and eventually emerge as Sergio Aguero’s replacement.

After five years with Etihad, the Brazilian has 88 goals in 224 competitive matches. He hasn’t quite managed to win the heart of Pep Guardiola, which has resulted in a lack of game-time even after the departure of Aguero.

Manchester City are preparing for a crucial summer. The Citizens have managed to surrender a commanding lead at the top of the Premier League table, raising questions about the team’s flaws.

One of them might be the lack of a consistent goal scorer. In that aspect, Gabriel Jesus lacks Guardiola’s faith, with the player himself failing with consistency when given the chance.

To that aim, Jesus’ departure might go a long way toward freeing up space in the attacking department while also providing Guardiola with a financial boost as the Catalan tries to bring in some outstanding players for the next season.
