Fabrizio Romano has reported that Juventus have now opened talks with City for Kalvin Phillips.
Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips is on the radar of Juventus. The Serie A giants have now opened talks with Premier League winners. Phillips is likely to leave the club in 2024.
The England international is seeing uncertainty at Man City and Pep Guardiola recently confirmed that the 28-year-old midfielder isn’t part of his plans at the Etihad Stadium.
Newcastle United, Manchester United and Tottenham have also been linked with this player. The former Leeds man will find some challenges at other clubs.
As per Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Old Lady have now opened talks with City for Kalvin Phillips. The 28-year-old is said to be open about the possibility of joining the Serie A club in January.
Man City midfielder is not getting regular time at Etihad and he wants some football action ahead of the Euro 2024. He will be part of the England squad for the mega event in Germany.
Juventus need someone like him as they have lack of options in midfield. Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli are suspended. They are also looking at other options like Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
