Kalvin Phillips - Manchester City Players To Be Sold

After losing favour with Pep Guardiola, Kalvin Phillips is attempting to find a long-term departure from Man City this summer. Senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke said that Phillips is averse to going on another loan, saying that he would rather to establish himself at a new team under a new management in an interview with Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast.

The midfielder had a terrible time of loan at West Ham during the second half of the previous season, as he put up a number of subpar performances before leaving the team. On July 21, Football Insider disclosed that City is now willing to consider bids of up to £20 million in order to release the 28-year-old this summer.

Everton is leading in Kalvin Phillips Loan Deal

According to talkSPORT, Everton is prepared to provide Kalvin Phillips, a midfielder for Manchester City, with a way out of the Etihad Stadium this summer. The England international was moved back to City early in the 2023–24 season after spending the second half of the season on loan at West Ham United, where he struggled to make an impression.

The report claims that because of Goodison Park’s precarious financial state, the team can only now offer Manchester City a loan agreement to recruit the former Leeds United player this summer. Despite having little playing time with Man City, Phillips has been called “exceptional” by Pep Guardiola, and Fulham is also interested in making a trade for him.
