De Bruyne has been added to Man City’s 23-man travelling squad for the Club World Cup.
Man City star Kevin De Bruyne is now back to training and it’s positive news for Pep Guardiola. Man City will be in action for the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final clash against Urawa Red Diamonds in Saudi Arabia.
The Cityzens playmaker was sidelined since August 11. He suffered from a hamstring injury and that required surgery. The 32-year-old revealed last month that his recovery is “going very well” and insisted that he is targeting a return to first-team action in the New Year.
De Bruyne has been added to Man City’s 23-man travelling squad for the Club World Cup. He also watched the previous game against Crystal Palace as a spectator. He has since landed in Saudi Arabia ahead of Tuesday’s meeting with Urawa.
According to Mail journalist Jack Gaughan, De Bruyne stood alongside Manuel Akanji and Jack Grealish during a training drill in Saudi Arabia.
Pep Guardiola will also monitor the conditions of Erling Haaland and Jeremy Doku, who were two notable absentees from training on Monday.
