The Belgian international started three games in a row.
Kevin De Bruyne has not returned to full fitness for which he missed the whole pre-season with City and missed a bunch of games in September.
He finally returned to the bench against Leicester City before playing crucial minutes against RB Leipzig and Southampton.
Since then he started three back-to-back games for Pep Guardiola’s side.
“I have had a tough period with my injury, so I’m coming back little by little to my game,” he said.
“I’m happy for being able to play three games in a row. It’s very important for me.”
The 30-year old expresses his thoughts on City’s performances in the last few games.
“I think the way we have played the three games this week has been very good,” he said.
“Obviously, the scores weren’t always what we wanted them to be, we got a draw today, we lost against PSG, but I think we played really well in the three matches. We controlled the match most of the time during the three games but playing three times in one week against great teams like those is hard.
“We must also consider that the teams we had in front of us have a lot of quality as well, but the way we played, our way, it’s the most important thing for us.”
