Harry Kane should demand a move to Manchester City.
The England captain missed their opening 1-0 win over title-holders Man City.
Kane demanded his desire to leave the North London club back in an exclusive interview with Gary Neville back in May.
Man City have been on the market for a new striker since Aguero’s transfer to Barcelona.
The 28-year old striker is included in the club’s 25-man squad when they face Pacos de Ferreira in the Europa League tie on Thursday.
Former Reds defender Stephen Warnock believes City desperately needs a striker to take up goalscoring positions during games.
“They are desperate for someone to be that guy who taps in all the incredible play that they put together on the pitch”, Warnock said.
“That is what Harry Kane has the knack of doing as well, he’s incredible at it.
“It is something that Manchester City need. [He can produce] that type of moment out of nothing that Aguero used to do so often – but [Gabriel] Jesus doesn’t have that quality within him.”
