According to Manchester Evening News, Guardiola has not confirmed whether De Bruyne will be available for the match. The Belgium international suffered an apparent groin injury during his side’s Champions League opener with Inter Milan. The 33-year-old will not be in action against Championship side Watford for a third-round EFL Cup tie.
De Bruyne will be joined by Rodri who is also dealing with injury. He will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season due to anterior cruciate ligament injury.
