Ederson slams claims that he was 'affected' by praise for Stefan Ortega

Manchester City and Galatasaray have reportedly struck an agreement over a deal worth €10 million for 31-year-old Brazilian international Ederson Moraes.

Sport Witness reports that Ederson Moraes is the target of interest from Galatasaray, citing a source from Sabah. The Turkish powerhouses are eager to add a goalkeeper to their first-team roster during the summer transfer window. Cimbom has therefore made the 31-year-old Manchester City veteran a target.

In a €10 million deal, the Turkish Super Lig champions have reached an agreement with Manchester City to acquire the seasoned goalie. Cimbom hopes to sign the former SL Benfica goalkeeper to a €7.5 million annual pay, but he has not yet accepted Galatasaray’s contract offer since he wants €10 million.

Following his €40 million move from SL Benfica to Manchester City in July 2017, Ederson Moraes has emerged as one of the world’s top goalkeepers. Despite occasionally making mistakes over the past eight years, the 31-year-old’s skill with the ball has made him useful to Pep Guardiola.

City face transfer stand-off as player agrees personal terms over exit

As reported by Haber Sarikirmizi and translated by Sport Witness, journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu claims that Ederson has reached a personal agreement with Galatasaray, who are now negotiating a transfer fee with Manchester City for the 31-year-old.

“Everything has been agreed upon by Ederson. A salary of less than €10 million was agreed upon, the Turkish journalist disclosed last week. Galatasaray also called Manchester City and stated, “We will never go above €10 million,” according to other explanations. We’ll be alright if you’re okay.

Considering the lack of financial urgency on their part to offload, cities are likely to fight for a superior arrangement. Galatasaray, however, is optimistic that Ederson’s readiness to join and the small pool of suitors prepared to pay and value demands could ultimately force a fair deal.

From the player’s point of view, Ederson is eager for a fresh challenge because he won every major prize that was attainable while he was in Manchester. Given the Saudi Arabian interest over the last two summers, his repeated rumors of an exit point to a growing willingness to finish his European career abroad.
