Man City midfielder Mateo Kovacic open to January exit

Kovacic has started all four of Man City’s matches this season due to the absence of Rodri.

Manchester City midfielder Mateo Kovacic is planning to make a January exit. He has been linked with Saudi Pro League clubs and he will find new challenges there.

Man City allowed some departure during the summer transfer window including Julian Alvarez’s move to Atletico Madrid. Joao Cancelo, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Sergio Gomez and Tommy Doyle, while Yan Couto, Kalvin Phillips, Issa Kabore and Maximo Perrone all headed out on loan.

Man City will have no problem to sanction any departure during the winter transfer window. Meanwhile, Kovacic is on the way to leave the club on new year.

As per Football Insider, the Croatia international is considering his future at Etihad following the recent arrival of Ilkay Gundogan. The German moved to his former club on a free transfer after spending a season with Barcelona.

Kovacic has started all four of Man City’s matches this season due to the absence of Rodri. Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola will not allow him to leave the club in winter.

Al-Nassr is looking to sign the 30-year-old midfielder during the winter transfer window. The Saudi Arabian giants are considering a January approach after missing out chance in the summer. They are willing to offer around $65m to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo.
