Man City not signing Harry Kane would be very surprising

Harry Kane would eventually join Man City in the summer.

Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish will undergo a medical on Thursday ahead of his £100m move to the Etihad.

This move would make the biggest transfer in English football history and for Manchester City.

In order to make room in the transfer budget, City needs to offload a few of their fringe players to sanction a move for England captain Harry Kane.

Harry Kane missed his Spurs training for the second day to push a move away from the North London club.

Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino Man City needs to sign both Kane and Grealish this summer.

He said: “Manchester City are at a stage where they are now going to be buying the very best. They have always been big spenders.

“I am afraid to say that it’s very hard to see Man City not getting Kane and Grealish because they have spent more than £200 million in the summer before.

“If they bought two of them, and that would go in excess of £200 million, then it wouldn’t be what they have done before.”
