Savio could be the first signing for Man City in this summer.
As per reports, Manchester City are keen to get the signatutre of Brazilian talent Savio on a long-term deal. The young talent was heavily linked with the Premier League Champions.
The Brazilian has been part of the City Football Group (CFG) for several years. He joined after a four-year stint at Atletico Mineiro. He moved to CFG in 2022 and was later assigned to Ligue 1 outfit Troyes. The 20-year-old made a loan move to Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven.
Savio featured in eight first-team matches for PSV before he was sent on a second loan to La Liga with Girona last season. He made 41 appearances, scoring 11 goals and 10 assists. He helped Girona to secure third place in La Liga last season.
As per the reports of the Athletic, Man City are aready to confirm Savio as first signing of the summer. He could be the first signing of the summer.
Savio is currently away on international duty with Brazil for Copa America 2024. If the reported deal is completed, the 20-year-old will remain with City until the summer of 2029.
