Michael Olise, a Bayern Munich winger, has been identified as a potential transfer target for Manchester City. Christian Falk earlier revealed for CF Bayern Insider that City and Liverpool are keeping track on the French international’s improvement. Olise is one of the world’s top wingers when he’s on his game.
Since joining Bayern Munich, he has established himself as one of the top offensive players in the game. A fresh report has identified a possible sum that may entice Bayern to trade one of their key players. If City were serious about signing Olise, they’d have to go all out.
Christian Falk of CF Bayern Insider reports that if Manchester City, Liverpool, or any other club interested in signing Michael Olise bids more than €100 million for the French international, Bayern Munich’s commitment to maintain their star player would be tested.
Furthermore, Falk says that Bayern Munich does not want to lose Michael Olise. Falk adds that Bayern aims to offer Michael Olise a new deal in order to ward off interest from Manchester City and Liverpool.
Manchester City would have to go big to sign Michael Olise
If Manchester City wanted to recruit Michael Olise next summer, they would have to go big. Bayern Munich would drive a hard bargain and would make it difficult for City or Liverpool to sign Olise. The Bundesliga titans’ viewpoint is reasonable. Olise is a crucial player for Vincent Kompany’s team. He is one of their primary attacking outlets as well as one of their most lethal assaulting weapons. Understandably, signing Michael Olise would necessitate a significant transfer price.
There is a lot to work out before City moves on Olise. It would be something they’d have to consider next summer. Pep Guardiola’s squad may not be looking for a winger next summer. Especially if Jeremy Doku and Savinho improve as players. Manchester City’s apparent interest in acquiring Michael Olise is worth keeping in mind for next summer. There is unlikely to be much progress on that front very soon.
