Manchester City are considered frontrunners in signing Jude Bellingham.
Liverpool have seemingly pulled out of the race for Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham as they are looking to sign two or three midfielders with his price tag.
The Reds believe a fee in excess of £120 million is too much to spend on one player as they need to address several other positions.
The 19-year-old midfielder is deemed a generational talent and it will only rub salt into the wounds if he ends up at the Etihad according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
He believes it would be a cheat code if Man City manages to add Bellingham to the upper echelons of the English side.
“Man City will go and get him (Bellingham),” said Agbonlahor. “They will offer the package. It shouldn’t be allowed, but it’s about the package.
“What signing-on fee can you offer the player? What wages can you offer the player? What can the agent get out of the deal? That’s what it’s all about. Liverpool are probably looking at it and thinking ‘Let’s not waste any time here, we can’t afford it’.”
