Manchester City’s primary target to take the problematic right-back position had previously been identified as Tino Livramento, a versatile full-back for Newcastle United.

According to earlier reports by Fabrizio Romano, Livramento is City’s top priority to cover a gap in Pep Guardiola’s team. Before the 25–26 season begins, Manchester City needs to sign a good right-back.

Pep Guardiola is eager to bring Tino Livramento to the Etihad, according to a recent report. However, City will need to make a bold move and make Newcastle United an irresistible offer if they hope to sign Livramento. To sign Livramento this summer, though, even that might not be sufficient.

For the Daily Mail, Simon Jones has provided reporting. Tino Livramento from Newcastle United is a player that Pep Guardiola is keen for Manchester City to acquire this summer.

Additionally, according to Jones, Livramento still has three years left on his Newcastle contract. According to Simon Jones, Livramento is not someone Newcastle wants to sell this summer.

Pep Guardiola has been linked to a £30 million attempt and is a major admirer of the dynamic full-back. However, Livramento is getting ready to try to shatter more hearts in Spain tomorrow in Slovakia with the England U21s at the Euros, so the City manager is likely to be unhappy.

He said, The manager, I’m in constant contact with him, when asked directly if he would still be playing for Newcastle in August. You’re doing so great, so keep your attention on what you’re doing right now, he urged.

In November, Livramento received his first senior England cap as a result of his performances for Newcastle. He later played a significant part at Wembley when the Magpies defeated Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final to snap a 70-year major drought before qualifying for the Champions League.

Manchester City would probably have to spend a lot of money in order to have a chance to get him this summer. However, even it might not be sufficient. There is no proof that Newcastle United would be open to selling Livramento.
