The star of Manchester City, Kevin De Bruyne, has apparently expressed a desire to relocate to Saudi Arabia and is eager to join Al-Ittihad. There is only one year left on the Belgian playmaker’s Etihad Stadium contract. He’s already been connected to several high-profile moves, such as one to Saudi Arabia.
When De Bruyne’s time at Man City ends, it seems that the Middle East will be his next voyage. Reports from Italy state that the 33-year-old and Al-Ittihad have reached a personal agreement. There is still discussion about a price between Manchester City and the Saudi champions. A year ahead of schedule, if all goes according to plan, De Bruyne will depart the Premier League.
Kevin De Bruyne has not agreed terms with Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad yet
The Manchester City legend was rumoured to have concluded his personal conditions prior to a possible move to the Middle East, but talkSPORT has learned that a deal isn’t close to closing at this time. Saudi Arabia is interested in the Belgian, but the Premier League winners would need to give up over £100 million to let go of one of their all-time greats.
In the last year of his City contract, De Bruyne’s negotiators in Saudi Arabia are willing to hold off on signing him until the next summer if necessary. Additionally, it is known that De Bruyne might want to play for Al Hilal in the event that he decides to join Saudi Arabia, as they will represent the Gulf state in the Club World Cup in 2025.
