5. Ferran Torres To Barcelona: Manchester City players sold
Ferran Torres joined Man City in 2020 on a five-year contract for a reported transfer fee of €23 million (£20.8 million) but he didn’t stay more than one season.
He even became the youngest Spanish player ever to score in three consecutive appearances in Champions League. In 2021/22, he missed out matches due to injury, Torres agreed a transfer to Barcelona for €55 million in December 2021.
Barcelona and Manchester City confirmed that Torres had completed a permanent move to Camp Nou, signing a five-year contract until June 2027, with a buyout clause of €1 billion.
4. Angeliño is one of the Man City players sold to RB Leipzig
Angelino played for Manchester City twice in his career. It means, he made a return to the club in 2019 after making his debut in 2016. He was loaned out to New York City in 2015 and to Girona in 2017. City re-signed him in the summer of 2019 after triggering a buy-back clause in his contract.
After making 12 appearances for the Cityzens, he was loaned to RB Leipzig until the end of the season. He was part of Leipzig’s memorable semifinal finish in Champions League 2020. Later, Manchester City extended his loan and in 2021, his loan to RB Leipzig was made permanent after he signed a four-year contract with the club, for an undisclosed fee.
3. Eric Garcia is one of the Man City players sold to Barcelona during previous seasons
Eric Garcia made his Man City debut in the EFL Cup quarter-final 2018 against Leicester City. Later, he become the prime player for Pep as a centre-back. Despite this, he rejected the contract extension in 2020 and in the summer of 2021, he agreed to sign for Barcelona on a free transfer on a five-year contract with a buyout clause set at €400 million.

Jack Harrison spent his maximum time with Leeds. The winger was Man City’s winter signing in 2018. On 1 July 2019, Harrison agreed a new one-year contract extension to his contract at Manchester City. City again loaned Harrison to Leeds for a third successive season with a view to make the move permanent the next year.
In the summer of 2020, Harrison joined Leeds for a third successive season on loan, this time with a view to a permanent move, in preparation for the club’s return to the Premier League. After one year, Leeds officially announced the permanent signing of Harrison on a three-year contract for a transfer fee of £11 million. He has now played more than 100 matches for the Whites.

He scored 184 league goals in 275 appearances for Man City, breaking Wayne Rooney’s record for most Premier League goals for a single club. His last game for the City was the Champions League final where Chelsea won the title. Agüero netted 260 goals for City in 389 appearances.
