Paul Scholes believes it’s a two-horse title race this season.
The former Man United midfielder Paul Scholes believes that Pep Guardiola’s side should be afraid of Liverpool after the Reds thrashed Man United 5-0 last weekend.
Even though Chelsea is currently topping the Premier League table, Scholes believes the title race would be between Liverpool and Manchester City.
The Reds are on a 22-match unbeaten streak across all competitions and the United win marked Jurgen Klopp’s 200th win as a manager of the Merseyside club.

“I think it’s a devastating day for the Premier League,” Scholes said. “Seeing Liverpool go to Old Trafford and win so convincingly, I think it will make City worry.
“Chelsea… I’m not sure, they have been great and I think they are better than I actually give them credit for but I think it’s between Liverpool and Manchester City.
“I think City watching that today, in the Champions League or the Premier League, that will frighten them.”
