Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Manchester City will be without both Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne for their upcoming Champions League clash against Sparta Prague.
De Bruyne and Walker Ruled Out for Man City’s Midweek European Tie

Despite a dramatic Premier League win over Wolves, Guardiola revealed that the key duo are unlikely to recover in time for the midweek European fixture.
Kevin De Bruyne has been out of action since suffering a thigh injury during City’s Champions League draw against Inter in September.
Although the Belgian midfielder has recently returned to light training, he wasn’t involved in City’s match against Wolves, and Guardiola does not expect him to be ready for the Champions League tie.
Kyle Walker, meanwhile, returned from international duty with England nursing a fitness issue. While he was expected to feature against Wolves, Guardiola admitted that the defender was not fully fit.
“I don’t think they will be ready for midweek,” the City boss told Sky Sports.
“We’ve got a few days to train, but I don’t think so.”
City’s injury list doesn’t end there. Rodri and Oscar Bobb are also long-term absentees, leaving Guardiola with limited options as he looks to rotate his squad in a busy schedule.
On a positive note, Nathan Ake made his return to the squad after a month out, and Manuel Akanji was passed fit following a fitness check.
City will aim to secure their second win in three Champions League games, hoping to strengthen their position in the newly revamped competition.
Despite the injury setbacks, Guardiola’s squad remains determined to continue their strong form both domestically and in Europe.
