Jack Grealish will reportedly move to Manchester City in this summer.
The Aston Villa captain has been linked with a move to an array of Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.
The Villans has set the price tag of £100 million for their club captain which would make him the costliest Englishman ever.
Grealish is one of the most sought-after players in the Premier League over the last two seasons and Guardiola is a huge admirer of the England international.
Pep has been vocal in his admirations of the playmaker in the past labelling him as one of the best in the Premier League.
He said: “He’s an exceptional player, I didn’t know him before I came here, he was playing in the Championship. Honestly, an exceptional player.
“They have one of the best players in the league in Jack Grealish.”
“He’s incredible,” Guardiola said at the time. “A top player. I’m happy he stayed in the Championship to defend his club when he could have gone.
“He’s a talented player who always creates something. An exceptional player but too expensive for Manchester!”
