Pep Guardiola not worried about Liverpool in title race

Both City and Liverpool are battling in the Premier League title race.

The Reds could potentially top the Premier League table this weekend but Pep Guardiola is not at all worried about that.

Liverpool will play Watford earlier in the afternoon and could secure the top spot for a while if they squeeze out a win.

“Nothing. Zero. Why?” Guardiola said in his pre-match press conference. “At the end of the weekend we will know the position that we are [in] but even going a point in front or a point backwards, we have to do our job. Nothing changes.”

Guardiola continued: “We have, I think, still nine games to play. Nine games, so game by game we will see what happens. We know what we have to do, that’s win games, that’s all and it’s hard but we are going to try.”

“We can do a mistake and win the title. So nobody knows. So whatever happens in this game, the next one, the next one, there’s not going to be a champion. We’re going to fight until the end.”
