Guardiola tells his player to leave Manchester City if they don’t react well with his rotation policy.
Guardiola rested the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Ruben Dias, Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez in their game Crystal Palace.
Pep admitted that is a tough task to keep everyone happy and urged them to make their arguments heard on the pitch.
Guardiola said: “Sterling responded in the Carabao Cup final, one player that played Carabao Cup final he deserved to play in Paris but I have to have a selection. If I leave Phil or Riyad out it’d be unfair on them.
“I don’t want to justify my decisions, I get mooney for making them, I understand perfectly. Laporte today was outstanding defensively, offensively, breaking the lines. He didn’t play in Paris, I understand why he’s sad. Today he showed.
“After the season we decide what we do. I rotate a lot, not just one player. When one guy always wants to play maybe it’s not the right place to be. I can’t do any more. Raheem plays exceptional, maybe he plays the final, some minutes, maybe he doesn’t. Everyone can play, thats the reason why for many years the commitment for everyone was there to be in the position we were to win many titles.”
