Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side seem unable to break free of their low scoring problem.
City were at their free-flowing best against Olympiakos in the Champions League clash but once again failed to find the back of the net on more than one occasion.
It is a becoming a thing of common recurrence for the Cityzens where they fall short in the final third more often than not despite playing some attractive passing football.
Pep was a happy man and sounded confident that City will start scoring heavily again.
“Incredible, unfortunately, we couldn’t score more goals,” Pep told BT Sport. ” I don’t know how many times we shoot on target.
“We would love to score more but it will come and one day we will break everything.”
City brushed off their 2-0 loss to Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur with the mid-week win and will be looking to do so again over the weekend against Burnley.
Pep’s side are not even in the top half of the table, albeit they have played one game less than most teams.
