Man City on brink of signing Brazilian talent Savio on a long-term deal

According to reports, Manchester City is willing to “invest a significant sum” in order to acquire a player they were considering earlier this year. Ahead of the January transfer window, Man City has been connected to a number of players, as the Premier League champions are expected to have a very disappointing season by their extremely high standards. Pep Guardiola’s team may need a lot of reinforcements throughout the field, but the majority of the attention has been on finding a midfield player to replace Rodri, who is sidelined for the season due to a knee injury.

The full-back Andrea Cambiaso of Juventus is reportedly one such player that City is considering. The 24-year-old regularly plays for Thiago Motta’s team, and his efforts have drawn praise. Tutto Juve now asserts that City has not lost interest in the Italian international, despite their consideration of signing him before he inked a new contract with the Old Lady in May that would keep him there until 2029.

Manchester City keen on Andrea Cambiaso

Because he can play either flank as a full-back or winger, Cambiaso has been a revelation for Juventus. If the 24-year-old star were made available, Manchester City would be prepared to spend a substantial sum of money for him because Guardiola will value his great adaptability. Given that other teams will be closely monitoring Cambiaso’s position, Real Madrid is also interested in him.

Cambiaso just agreed to a new contract in July that will last until 2029. Given that Cambiaso is considered a long-term star at the club, Juventus is not considering selling the Italian. Therefore, Manchester City may need to give up on pursuing the Bianconeri player or present a strong offer that Juventus would consider.
