Kabore appeared in 24 Premier League matches for Luton Town last season.
Man City are planning to send one more player to loan as Issa Kabore is leaving the club for Portuguese club Benfica. As per reports, the Champions League club is nearing an agreement on a loan deal.
The loan deal will be done before the deadline day. The 23-year-old joined City in the summer of 2020 from Mechelen for a fee of around £5.5m. He has yet to play a competitive match for Pep Guardiola’s side in last 4 years.
The Burkina Faso international has been sent on loan to Troyes and Marseille after joining City. He spent last season playing for Luton Town and then, came back to Man City.
Kabore appeared in 24 Premier League matches for Luton Town last season. According to Manchester Evening News, Benfica are in talks with the Cityzens over a deal for the young defender. The 23-year-old is expected to gain agreement to take him to the Primeira Liga.
The agreement will not include an obligation for Benfica to buy him at the end of the season. His contract expire in three years and City is not planning to sell him. They want to offer him opportunity to play at other clubs.
