Savinho leaves Manchester City transfer in hands of his agents
Savinho, the dynamic Brazilian winger currently starring at the Copa America, has put his potential move to Manchester City in the hands of his agents.
During a press conference at the national team’s camp, Savinho couldn’t suppress a smile when Manchester City was mentioned.
However, he remained tight-lipped about the specifics of his future, choosing instead to focus on his current international commitments.
“Rumors about Manchester City are everywhere,” Savinho acknowledged, “but right now, my focus is on the Copa America. My agents are handling everything off the pitch. I’m concentrating on my performance here, and we’ll have news soon.”
The 19-year-old, who belongs to Troyes, recently completed a successful loan spell at Girona, where his stellar performance significantly boosted his profile.
Scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists in 41 appearances, Savinho expressed deep gratitude towards Girona for their role in his development.
“Playing for Girona changed my life,” he reflected.
“It helped me break into the national team. I’m very happy with what I achieved there. Now, at the Copa America, I’m working hard to give my best, just like I did at the club.”
Despite the ongoing speculation about his next move, Savinho chose to focus on his immediate goals rather than future aspirations.
“My biggest dream was to make the national team,” he said. “Now, it’s to win the Copa America. Everyone dreams of playing in the World Cup, but my current desire is to win here.”
While many outlets report an impending move to Manchester City, the official announcement remains pending.
For now, Savinho’s attention remains firmly on his debut international tournament, leaving fans and journalists alike eagerly awaiting further developments.
