The return of Sergio Aguero has sort of become a talking point this season.
Manchester City have failed to find the back of the net regularly this season with the players creating chances but failing at converting them. The likes of Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden, Ferran Torres and Gabriel Jesus have all started up front for Pep’s team but none has come out of the test with flying colors.
This has made City realise their dependence on the brilliance of Sergio Aguero. And now with the player back from injury, City have been given a boost. At least that is what Bernardo Silva will want you to believe.
“Everyone knows he’s important,” the Portugal midfielder said in quotes reported on City’s website.
“He is one of the best players the club has ever had and a great goalscorer.
“He is also a great guy and personality to have around the team and it’s great to have him back.”
Silva also talked about how the win versus Marseill mid-week can push them to a win against United in the derby.
“When you win it’s always easy to go to the next game, it’s easier to win again and again,” he insisted.
“We want to keep the momentum going in a tough game against United on Saturday and we want to keep winning.”
