Savinho is one player whose future at Manchester City is now in doubt. Earlier this week, it was revealed that Tottenham and Manchester City had started negotiations to sign the Brazilian international. At first, it didn’t appear like City was interested in selling Savinho.

However, according to a recent source, Tottenham will make a better offer for the teenage winger when they return. Manchester City has reportedly established its asking price for Savinho’s sale.

Tottenham will put Manchester City’s determination to retain Savinho to the test, according to Jack Gaughan’s Daily Mail story. Gaughan also says Manchester City has rejected Tottenham’s first attempt to recruit the Brazilian international. It is thought that City will only entertain offers for the talented winger that exceed £50 million.

Additionally, according to Gaughan, Savinho is unsure about his future position in Pep Guardiola’s team. Finally, Gaughan states that if Savinho does quit the team, Manchester City will make a bid for Rodrygo, a winger for Real Madrid.

Man City tell Spurs how much Savinho will cost

According to reports, Savinho’s agency has stated the price at which Spurs will have to pay to get the Brazil winger from Manchester City. Spurs made an approach on Monday for the 21-year-old Savinho, who just signed with Man City last summer.

David Ornstein of The Athletic said that the clubs had discussions over a €50 million (£43.3 million) deal. Although the Brazilian is amenable to a move, City has reportedly stated that they do not wish to sell the star this summer.

When the 21-year-old joined City from French team Troyes in July of last year, it cost almost £30.8 million. Jorge Nicola, a Brazilian journalist, said on Wednesday, August 13, that he had spoken with Savinho’s agent, Frederico Moraes, who claimed that Spurs had previously rejected an offer of €50 million (£42 million).

Savinho has an asking price of €80 million (£67 million), according to Nicola, and it’s uncertain if the north London team would accept the amount. If he were to join Spurs, Savinho, who mostly plays as a right winger, would probably fill the vacuum created by Son Heung-min’s departure.
