Tottenham Hotspur reportedly wants to sign Manchester City winger Savinho in January, according to a recent report by Fichajes. Spurs are reportedly preparing a major deal to sign the Brazilian wide winger in North London the following season.
With a series of strong performances for the Manchester club in the closing third, Savio enjoyed a respectable season. Last season, the Brazilian wing wizard played in 48 games for Man City, contributing three goals and 13 assists overall.
After averaging 2.80 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League, the 21-year-old was able to sometimes excel in the opposing half. He was able to hit 38.2% of his shots. Savio’s 80.8% pass completion rate in Premier League football shows that he was also cautious when passing the ball.
In the summer of 2029, his existing contract at Etihad Stadium will expire. Spurs would thus need to present a strong bid if they are to sign the Brazilian player the following season.
Tottenham preparing lucrative January bid for Savinho
Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy left last week, and although his replacement has not yet been named, it is certain that the incumbent would want to establish his dominance over the team right away.
Because of this, the January transfer window is the ideal opportunity for the Europa League winners to make another investment, and certain squad additions midway through the season are still quite reasonable.
