Raheem Sterling could leave Man City for a new challenge.

The 26-year old England international struggled for a starting place in Pep’s XI this term.

City have signed Jack Grealish in a deal worth £100million from Aston Villa to bolster their attacking options.

Sterling’s contract expires in the summer of 2023 and has just one goal to his name this season.

Trevor Sinclair believes Sterling could leave Man City to seek a new challenge.

Sinclair told talkSPORT: “Maybe he fells a little bit unloved and not needed. Jack Grealish has come in and has done superbly well.

“They’ve got a lot of quality in both wing areas where Raheem plays.

“He’s been at the club a while now, his contract expires in 2023, so has just less than two years to go.

“I think there are negotiations in play with the club and Raheem. If it doesn’t get sorted out soon I can see him getting sold and leaving the football club.”
