Cole Palmer reveals it was tough to leave Manchester City.
The Chelsea attacking midfielder made his move to Stamford Bridge in a £40m move from Manchester City.
The 21-year-old has already scored four goals and made two assists in eight Premier League appearances for the Blues.
He will make his England senior debut in the European qualifying campaign at home to Malta and away to North Macedonia.
His move is certainly paying off both for the player and Chelsea as he received a call-up for the England squad for his outstanding debut.
Palmer explains it was a tough call to depart his boyhood club where he spent the last 15 years.
He told Sky Sports: “It was a really tough decision, and I didn’t know what I was going to do. But with the competition that’s there, the players they have, and those they were going to sign, I made my choice.
“I was speaking to people at Chelsea, and I spoke to my dad, but I really didn’t know what to do. I was thinking about it for a couple of days, near enough every minute of the day. In the end, I felt that for my career, I had to leave to get regular game time.
