Marcus Rashford and Kyle Walker will play each other in the Manchester derby this weekend.

Man City full-back Kyle Walker believes English forward Marcus Rashford is an opponent to be feared ahead of the Manchester derby.

The England international scored 30 goals in all competitions last season but has struggled to replicate that form this year.

In their last meeting in January, Rashford scored the decisive goal in the 82nd minute to seal the game for the Red Devils.

Walker said: “I think Marcus has shown over the years that he’s the sort of player who can create problems for any side if they don’t match him.

“He’s been important for both United and England since he was a teenager because of the threat he offers to any team he’s in. He’s got a lot of different qualities and we know he can be dangerous at the weekend.”

Earlier this year in an interview with Gary Neville, Rashford revealed that Walker is the toughest defender he ever faced because of his defensive capabilities.

Man City are in a stronger position at the moment despite their slip before the international break when they lost to both Wolves and Arsenal.
