Man City faces an injury scar ahead of top-of-the-table clash against Arsenal

Gareth Southgate was asked about Walker’s injury after the game.

Manchester City has faced a fresh injury scar during the international break. Kyle Walker might be sidelined due to injury in Premier League showdown against Arsenal next Sunday.

Man City defender was captaing the Three Lions squad in place of Harry Kane at Wembley. Endrick’s 80th-minute strike propelled Brazil to a 1-0 victory.

Kyle Walker had already been off the field for over an hour. The 33-year-old sustained an injury in the first 20 minutes of the match. He had sprinted back to intercept Vinicius Junior’s goal-bound strike in the 12th minute, just a couple of moments before dropping to the turf with an apparent hamstring concern. He was later substituted by Aston Villa’s Ezri Konsa.

Gareth Southgate was asked about Walker’s injury after the game, and he said, “We don’t know yet. He is feeling something but he is not a player who is injured very often so he’s not quite certain what it is. So it is something we have to assess in the coming days.”

Walker might be unavailable for Tuesday’s international friendly with Belgium at Wembley, Now, he will be in dobut for Arsenal clash as well. Man City are already dealing with injury concerns as Ederson, Kevin De Bruyne and Jack Grealish.
