Alphonso Davies could be a brilliant replacement for Joao Cancelo.
According to a report from Manchester Evening News, Alphonso Davies is on the radar of Man City. Davies will likely depart Bayern Munich.
Manchester City will reportedly pursue a move to sign the talented defender. It is added that the ongoing situation at Bayern is described as “chaotic.”
The 22-year-old has been in excellent form in the Bundesliga this season. He has showcased his skills on the left side of Bayern’s defense. He has scored three goals and eight assists in his 38 appearances for the German club across all competitions.
Davies’ contract is set to expire in the summer of 2025. It means, that next summer represents Bayern’s final opportunity to secure a substantial transfer fee for the Canadian international.
Joao Cancelo is set to exit the Etihad and Alphonso Davies could be a brilliant replacement with similar skills to that of the Portuguese fullback.
