The Premier League winners are locked in a title battle with Arsenal and are also competing in the FA Cup and Champions League.
Pep’s side spent a few weeks out in the US on a pre-season tour last summer, with plans already being made for the upcoming campaign.
According to a report by Football Insider, the Sky Blues are plotting a pre-season visit to India this summer.
A friendly meeting with CFG -owned Mumbai City FC is on the cards as City are likely to play a one-off fixture in the subcontinent as opposed to taking a full-fledged tour.
Mumbai City competes in the Indian Super League, one of the fastest-rising leagues in the world, and one which has seen promising talents emerge from in the last few years.
