Kyle Walker made a return to the bench against Luton Town last week.

Manchester City will be pumped up on the return of Kyle Walker for the Champions League quarterfinal against Real Madrid. Guardiola has confirmed that Kyle Walker is in contention to feature against Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

Real Madrid and Man City played out a 3-3 draw in the previous first-leg tie. Kyle Walker missed out five matches due to an injury sustained in England’s international friendly against Brazil last month.

Meanwhile, Walker made a return to the bench against Luton Town last week. Nathan Ake has also been sidelined since picking up a calf injury against Arsenal last month. He joined Walker as a substitute last weekend.

Guardiola confirms Walker in contention for Real Madrid clash and said, “But he looks good, his face, his mood. I don’t know from the bench, from the beginning [of the match] if he will be with us tomorrow. But that’s incredibly good news. We have the final training at 4 and then we will decide.”

Kyle Walker, Nathan Ake and Rodri will also give Pep Guardiola a big boost for crucial games this season. They already have a two-point lead over Arsenal in the Premier League.
