According to reports in the Daily Mail, Mike Keegan has revealed that the City’s pursuit of Haaland has taken a significant step forward after the club agreed terms with his representatives over a what is likely to be a five-year deal making him the highest-paid footballer in England’s top flight.
The reports also added that Guardiola’s side are set to trigger the £63million clause in the Norway international’s Dortmund contract, with the transfer to be sealed in the next week or so if all goes to plan.
Keegan added that 21-year-old was in line to earn in excess of £500,000 per week, taking him above the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and making him the highest-earning player in the division.
