Savio is currently showing impressive numbers with Girona during the loan stint.
Manchester City have reached an agreement to sign Girona winger Savio from Troyes. He joined La Liga club, Girona on loan from Troyes last summer. He has impressed everyone by showing great skills in Spain.
The Brazilian has been a regular for the La Liga giants and appeared in 22 of 23 league games. He scored five goals and provided seven assists to help his club to chase the title glory against Real Madrid.
His contract with Troyes will expire in the summer of 2027. His impressive performances for the La Liga club have led to significant interest.
As per Fabrizio Romano, the Cityzens have agreed a deal with the Ligue 1 club to sign Savio on a permanent deal this summer. Man City, Girona and Troyes are under the City Football Group umbrella. This is the reason Man City won’t face any problem.
There was a report saying that the Premier League club could sign the 19-year-old for as little as £10m. The necessary paperwork will be signed in the coming days.
Savio joined his current club in the summer of 2022 but later, sent out on loan to Dutch side PSV Eindhoven. The teenager failed to make a single start in eight competitive matches. His best version came with Girona.
