Liverpool and Man City will again go head-to-head in the title race.
The Reds were just one point behind Man City last season and City will be looking to clinch their third Premier League title in a row this year.
Liverpool have added Darwin Nunez and two other players to bolster the squad.
But Liverpool Steve Nicol believes Klopp has nothing to cpmplain with the current squad at his disposal.
Nicol said: “I would think Liverpool’s only concern is Manchester City, to be honest. I don’t think Klopp can complain about the squad he’s got, I don’t think he can complain about the signings he’s made. The truth is right now, certainly when a ball was kicked at the end of last season, City were the better side and they’ve added Haaland, Kalvin Phillips.
“I think Liverpool’s only worry is going to be City. Klopp was being nice to everybody else but the truth is, he’s not saying ‘well, if we finish above Spurs, we’ll win the league,’ or ‘if we finish above Chelsea we’ll win the league.’
No, he knows the team he’s got his sights on and it’s Manchester City and they have to start well, they can’t afford to get themselves into a position where they did last season where they were 10-12 points behind and looking out of the title race and fighting their way back – and everyone’s saying well done.
