Manchester City are considering a summer move for PSG and RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons. However, they could face competition from a Spanish rival.
Simons moved to RB Leipzig on a season-long loan from PSG. The 20-year-old showed an impressive performance at PSV Eindhoven. He started against City in the UEFA Champions League last week.
Manchester City moved three points clear at the top of the table with a 3-1 victory against the Bundesliga giants, courtesy of goals from Julian Alvarez and Jeremy Doku.
Xavi Simons was in good touch against the City in the Champions League game. The PSG loanee could also feature at the Etihad Stadium next month when RB Leipzig travels to Manchester City in a UCL outing.
As per the SportBILD, relayed by Sport Witness, the 20-year-old forward could even be set to play at the Etihad Stadium more regularly if City tries to sign him.
Manchester City could face competition from Real Madrid who are also monitoring the development of the PSG loanee. Manchester City recently signed Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig this summer.
