Manchester City are eyeing a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer
Manchester City have joined the competition to sign the French midfielder, who is scheduled to become a free agent at the conclusion of the season.
Pogba is a hard-tackling midfielder who can timing his challenges well enough to produce a few crucial interceptions in the centre of the field. He possesses the vision to open up the opposing defence with a lethal pass in the final third and the strength and precision to strike the ball from long range. The French star can even win aerial duels and is adept at keeping ball moving in midfield.
However, Pogba’s tenure at Old Trafford has not always been easy. Man City would be wise to give him a contract when his current agreement with Manchester United expires in the summer.
Pogba may love playing under Pep Guardiola’s tutelage at the Etihad Stadium, and he and Rodri might develop an excellent midfield combo with Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne at Manchester United in the future seasons.
More crucially, Pogba will bring more goals and dynamism to Guardiola’s midfield, perhaps assisting the Premier League champions in maintaining their supremacy in English football.
