Pep Guardiola’s squad enters the Champions League final for the second time in three years.

The Catalan coach claims City’s performance in the second-leg against Real Madrid was the best of his illustrious career in the Champions League.

Man City routed champions Real Madrid 4-0 thanks to Bernardo Silva’s first-half double which put City in control of the game.

An own goal by Eder Militao and a late fourth from Julian Alvarez sealed the win for the Cityzens.

“I had the feeling we had one year of pain in our stomach. What happened last season, today went out,” he said.

“It was so painful last season, when people said these players lacked character and in one year we’ve shown again how special this group of players is.

“I say congratulations to all our organisation, our chairman, our owner, until the last person because they work with a real purpose and we are there!”
