Southgate will likely end the English head coach job after 8 years. Three Lions are said to be “exploring” the surprise appointment of Guardiola.
The Manchester City manager will see his contract expiring in the summer of 2025 and could be lined up to take charge of the Euro 2020 finalists. Southgate got one more chance for Euro 2024 despite a quarterfinal exit from World Cup 2022.
