Man City are in the market for a new striker.

The Cityzens will be signing a striker on priority in the next transfer window with Harry Kane being their main target.

But they failed to sign the England captain this summer and Guardiola could turn his head towards Haaland who is expected to leave Dortmund when the current season ends.

The Bundesliga outfit would never want to sell their prized possession who has a £75m clause in his contract.

Dortmund could be tempted to offload the Norwegian in January to earn some extra cash in the transfer.

Cole Palmer believes City has already finalised a deal for the Norwegian star with Borussia Dortmund.

“I think they’ll have probably already wrapped that deal up myself for the January transfer window,” the ex-Leeds United player told TIF. “I’d be surprised if the Haaland deal’s not done.

“Knowing that he’s going to be available at the end of the season, they might even give 100 million for Haaland so Dortmund get an extra £40m to let him out at Christmas.”
