Josko Gvardiol backs Man City to comeback after the defeat against Arsenal

The Croatian defender is adamant that Man City will learn from the last two league defeats in the Premier League.

Josko Gvardiol is backing Man City to make a comeback in the Premier League. He will use all the key learnings to make improvements following Sunday’s 1-0 defeat at Arsenal.

The 21-year-old came close to giving City the lead in the first half against Arsenal. The Croatian defender is adamant that the Cityzens will learn from our last two league defeats at the Gunners and Wolves.

“I cannot say something went wrong – we played good the whole game but maybe not enough,” said Gvardiol.

“We knew we needed to have a lot of patience and calmness on the ball. We were doing good for most of the game.

“Every game we prepare in the best and we were ready for Sunday. We could have done better but it is what it is – it’s behind us.

“We have to be more dangerous in the last third. We will analyse it when we come back from the international break and focus on the next game.”

He also added about the absence of Rodri, “Of course, we are missing Rodri for sure. We all know his qualities. He’s coming back soon, and we are happy about it.”
