Kalvin Phillips seeking January move away from Manchester City.
The England international fell way down the pecking order since the arrival of Mateo Kovacic and Matheus Nunes in the summer.
He has endured a difficult 16-month campaign since his move from Elland Road in the summer of 2022.
The likes of Juventus, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs interested in signing the 28-year-old defensive midfielder.
But Juventus are leading the race for Phillips who are in dire need of a central midfielder as both Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli are unavailable.
Phillips’ contract with Man City expires in the summer of 2028 and has started only two games across all competitions.
The midfielder is keen to secure his name in the England Euro 2024 squad and will need more game time assurances from potential suitors.
He has made it clear to Pep Guardiola and director of football Txiki Begiristain that he would like to leave this January either on loan or on a permanent deal.
Juventus would prefer a loan option until the end of the season with an option to make the deal permanent next summer.
