Kyle Walker reveals his desire to deliver City’s maiden Club World Cup title

Kyle Walker was quick to point out his motivation to make their mark in Saudi Arabia.

Manchester City will appear for the first time in the FIFA Club World Cup this month. The City skipper, Kyle Walker has revealed his desire to deliver City’s first-ever Club World Cup title.

The Cityzens confirmed their ticket to Saudi Arabia after winning the maiden Champions League title where they beat Inter Milan in the final.

This season, they have won the UEFA Super Cup trophy after beating Europa League champions, Sevilla on penalties. The club would now look to win the Club World Cup this season.

Club captain Kyle Walker was quick to point out his motivation to make their mark in Saudi Arabia. While talking with talkSPORT during an interview, he said, “I’ve been very fortunate. To come here and do what I’ve done at Manchester City has been incredible.

“But there’s one that we haven’t got and we’ve got to go to Saudi after Crystal Palace and win the Club World Cup.”

Man City will kick off their campaign in the semifinal on the 19th of December. Their opponent will be finalised after the main round games.

Pep Guardiola’s side will take on Crystal Palace next in the Premier League this weekend. They would look to put some pressure on Aston Villa, Liverpool, and Arsenal in the title race.
